Nilfisk is significantly advancing position in sustainability rating
Nilfisk has received an EcoVadis gold rating for the third consecutive year, this time obtaining the highest points ever.
From 2023 to 2024, Nilfisk improved its EcoVadis score from 71 to 80 points, advancing from 95th to 98th percentile of all companies reporting into EcoVadis. EcoVadis is considered the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, and a gold rating is therefore an important testament to the Nilfisk’s dedicated efforts.
“Working with sustainability frameworks like EcoVadis drives continuous improvement, and our target is to sustain our gold rating while continually improving the total points awarded to Nilfisk,” says Malene Thiele, VP Global Sustainability and ESG at Nilfisk.
“Sustainability is increasingly integrated into our entire company and value chain involving not only our sustainability team, but also Compliance, Global Operations, HR – and many others from across the company supporting our disclosure and continuous improvements,” says Malene Thiele.
Ahead of the game
Performing well in EcoVadis and other similar ESG frameworks will be an increasingly significant business advantage according to Malene Thiele.
“We know that many of our customers rely on EcoVadis ratings in their purchasing decisions and we commend them for sharing our commitment to sustainability. Therefore, the EcoVadis Gold Medal is an important communications tool and is certainly something we bring to the table in our engagements with customers and other stakeholders,“ says Malene Thiele.
