René Svendsen-Tune takes over as interim CEO of Nilfisk

As of August 18, 2023, René Svendsen-Tune will take over as interim CEO of Nilfisk after Torsten Türling decided to resign his position for family reasons.

Nilfisk’s Board of Directors has named its deputy chairman René Svendsen-Tune as interim CEO. René has been a part of Nilfisk’s Board of Directors since 2017 and deputy chairman since 2021. René resigned from his position as CEO of GN Store Nord A/S and GN Audio in January 2023.

- “I’m delighted to step in during a period when Nilfisk needs someone to drive the business forward as planned. Torsten and his team have done great work as the architects and entrepreneurs of the “Business Plan 2026” strategy, and we in the Board of Directors are sad to see him go. Now we are in search of a new CEO, but until we find one, I am happy to be able to use my experience to ensure continued progress in the business,” says René Svendsen-Tune, interim CEO of Nilfisk.

Torsten Türling announced in June that he wanted to step down from his position for family reasons. Torsten subsequently asked the Board of Directors at Nilfisk to relieve him from his role. The Board accepted his request, and he has now left his position with immediate effect.

The recruitment of a new CEO is proceeding as planned.
