Q: Machine does not start or stops during use

Check that the plug is correctly fitted to the wall socket
A fuse in the building may have blown and needs to be changed
The cord or plug may be damaged and need repaired. If your machine is under warranty, please contact your supplier directly. If your machine is outside of the warranty period please contact a service center
The thermal fuse may have blown, Unplug and leave to cool for 1-2 hrs (to allow thermal fuse to reset). Try the machine again (without extension cable if used) - if still no power - please contact a service center
If none of the above actions apply – contact your supplier directly if your machine is under warranty or leave your machine with a service centre if your machine is outside of the warranty period

Q: Reduced suction power

The dust bag may be full and needs to be changed - Please look at the product page for your model to find the user manual.
The filter may be blocked and have to be changed - Please look at the product page for your model to find the user manual.
The hose handle, hose, tube or nozzle may be blocked and needs to be cleaned - Please look at the product page for your model to find the user manual.

Q: How do I vacuum up liquids with my Nilfisk Wet & Dry machine?

Remove the lid and take out the dust bag from your Nilfisk wet & dry machine.
Place the lid back onto your machine.
Vacuum up liquids from the floor or other surfaces, you can do this with or without the brush head accessory.
