Field of use:
• Food Processing Plants: for cleaning of surfaces soiled with oils or fats AND which require
disinfection.
• Hospitals and other Public Facilities: for cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, showers and
therapeutic tubs.
• Dairies: for cleaning and disinfection of milking and milk storage equipment
• Bottling Plants: for cleaning and disinfection of bottling equipment.

• Foaming capabilities allow the detergent to stay longer and work better on vertical or irregular
surfaces such as tanks and machinery.

• One detergent to clean and disinfect is more economical and more efficient than using two
different solutions.
• Formulated without Aldehydes, (formaldehydes) which require special precautions.

Application:
• High Pressure Washers: DES 5000 is specifically formulated for use with high pressure
washers, and works best when applied with a Foam Lance and Injector. Higher concentrations
result in shorter disinfecting times.
1% solution = 4 hours
2% solution = 1 hour
5% solution = 15 minutes
• Pre-Spraying equipment: If possible, use pre-spraying equipment that creates foam. Apply in
the same concentrations as for High Pressure Washers, above. Do not let it dry on surfaces.
• Hand Cleaning applications: Using suitable skin protection, DES 5000 can be applied with a
brush or sponge. Do not let it dry on the surfaces.
• Surfaces and equipment disinfected with DES 5000 must be thoroughly rinsed with clear water
before contact with foodstuffs.
• Normal disinfection : 2,5% solution (250 ml for 10 l water) at 20⁰C
• Heavy disinfection : 5% solution (500 ml for 10 l water) at 20⁰C
• For bacteria : (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Enterococcus hirae) 5% solution. Contact time 5 minutes at 20⁰C
• For full anti-bacterial effect according to EN 13697 : 5% solution. Contact time 30 minutes at 20⁰C
• For full anti-viral effect according to EN 14476 : 2,5% solution. Contact time 15 minutes at 20⁰C
• For effect on fungi : (Candida alicans) 500ml in 10l water 5% solution. Contact time 30 minutes at 20⁰C
